New CinnaFuego Toast Crunch Is The Spicy Cereal Snack You Never Knew You Wanted

The new CinnaFuego Toast Crunch will be available starting August 12

Consumer foods company General Mills is set on releasing their new CinnaFuego Toast Crunch, a spicy take on their classic beloved breakfast cereal. Adding hot peppers to the mix of cinnamon and sugar, the limited-edition CinnaFuego flavor will be available starting August 12.

Although the new CinnaFuego Toast Crunch has the same appearance as the original and is still covered in Cinnadust, General Mills states that it tastes completely different due to the addition of a spicy pepper to the sweet cinnamon flavor. It’ll also be packaged in a resealable pouch, rather than the usual cereal box.

These resealable 5.9 oz plastic pouches will encourage consumers to enjoy the sweet and spicy treat not only as a breakfast food but as a snack. The kids will surely go crazy over these, and possibly their curious parents as well.

“CTC is always looking to give our fans the most absurd and exciting experiences,” said General Mills senior marketing communications manager Mindy Murray. “So when we were thinking about what to do next, we realized snack time was a moment that could be spiced up. We can’t wait for CTC lovers to try CinnaFuego, and if they dare, eat it with some milk for breakfast.”

The new CinnaFuego Toast Crunch is merely just one variation of the number of Cinnamon Toast Crunch flavors that currently exist. When taking a look at the Cinnamon Toast Crunch Instagram, there’s other snacking cereals to choose from in the form of cinnamon rolls, graham crackers, and even churros. There’s also varieties in chocolate and dulce de leche. Who knew!?
